The SG2 is a wax resin ribbon with a special ink formulation that gives crisp printed images. It has an additional top coating and unique release layer which provide smudge and scratch resistance beyond current industry standards.

The SG2 allows printing on to a wide range of label materials but is specifically designed to print on high gloss paper and polyethylene. The chemical nature of the ink allows high quality image printing at speeds up to 250 mm/s (depending on the application and the characteristics of the printer).
