Krefeld, August 2009 – TOSHIBA TEC Europe strengthened its executive team with the appointment of Ulrich Hieber as Divisional Manager Retail for Germany, Switzerland and Austria.

Mr. Hieber has a significant background in retail sales and marketing and recently served as the Director of Marketing and Sales for NCR Germany where during his 18-year tenure he successfully expanded market share through innovative team leadership, national communications, and specialised events.

As Divisional Manager at TOSHIBA TEC Germany, Ulrich Hieber will now lead the sales and marketing of EPOS products as well as further develop total retail solutions on the retail and the hospitality sides. He will be responsible for directing the retail marketing and sales strategy for both the direct and indirect sales channels, leading and training affiliate retail sales teams, and developing retail marketing communications.
