TOSHIBA TEC Europe appoints Gerard Pruijn Director of Business Development to forge strong alliances with Tier 1 retail enterprises BRUSSELS, August 2010 – Gerard Pruijn is appointed Director of TOSHIBA TEC’s European Business Development team as part of the company’s strategy to enhance marketing efforts, expand sales initiatives, and deepen Tier 1 client relationships. Based in Amersfoort, The Netherlands, Gerard is to provide strategic leadership and direction towards development of TOSHIBA TEC’s corporate retail partnership strategy in the EMEA region. At the same time, he will further improve synergies with the company’s Auto ID division with an emphasis on offering complete back-to-back IT solutions for the retail industry. TOSHIBA TEC delivers ‘Best in Class’ POS and Auto ID systems that excel in longevity and low maintenance to manufacturers, supply chain operators and retailers.
